Mmmmmmm....again, there is a lot of information to take in. Not sure how to use this in the learning environment. It would be good to have links to a particular theme that the students would then access as per idea #2.
I use the internet favourites tool to get up-to-date information quickly, but I can see that people would enjoy the one-top-shop format that Google Reader and others provide.
I need to explore further to see how I can incorporate this tool into work and home life.

Uploaded photo
At last, I managed to upload one of my photos from flickr!
I am making my way through The Tassie Toolbox, albeit back to front. Starting to get the hang of all the different tools!

TeacherTube
I have chosen 'The Great Depression' video from TeacherTube because it is a good example of a short movie using pictures and music, which was nicely edited. With all this talk of the global financial crisis I guess it is quite apt too.
It was also easily accessible, being on the homepage, as I didn't feel like going through the entire site to find a good one. This leads me to my gripe about the site (and others). It would be easier to navigate if the videos etc were categorised into topic areas so one doesn't have to trawl through everything to find anything relevant. I am sure there are some gems in amongst it all - I just don't have that much time on my hands!
